If you read my bio, you already know that Donald Duck comics hold a very special place in my heart. That’s why this campaign was simply a dream come true – and simple it was!
We placed some of the most iconic stories (picked by yours truly) as outdoor ads for people to read while waiting the bus. Not to get all buzzword-nerdy, but talk about marketing-as-a-service!
Seeing people of all ages with their faces glued to these “ads” instead of their phone screen was such a thrill – I even witnessed one father-son duo skip the bus so that they could finish a story.
The tag line at the bottom reads: Read Donald Duck, not ads.
Amen to that.
